Super Jeeps are highly modified 4x4 off-road vehicles on very large tires. While fun to look at and drive due to their gigantic wheels and overall size, they are 5 times more expensive than regular 4x4 rental in Iceland and don’t offer any true benefits in terms of usability or practicality.
The only thing that sets Super Jeeps apart is their capacity to drive on glaciers; however, this can be done on a regular trip and snowmobiles are usually the preferred choice!
